realtionship with nature.

most of my favorite memories as a child involve the outdoors. swimming in creeks, walking through the woods, climbing trees, splashing in the oceans frothy waves. the feel of wind on your face, dirt in between your toes, patchy sunlight on your skin, the taste of nature. i believe that everyone should have a close relationship with nature. in my younger years, my mom insisted on spending time outdoors whether it was at the park a few minutes away, or a swimming hole on the side of a highway. nature has grown on me, and i on it. my fondest memories include visiting a park called "haun woods." somewhere around emory, it is a forest paradise. steep hills covered in pine straw rolling down to a creek that lolls throughout the woods. trails and paths wind in and out of the trees and up and down the hills. spending time here and elsewhere outdoors is the best thing that has ever happened to me. as people age, a phenomena occurs that breaks the relationship between nature and a person. people forget to enjoy the simple things in life and slowly but surely, they forget about nature. they forget what they once loved, and kill nature with their cars and big air-conditioned houses. i believe that it is important for everyone to remember their relationship with nature and taking care of the earth, or else it won't be there for generations of children to come to enjoy.

good start and there are some nice details. think about the order of your essay and easier transitions from one idea to the next
